Who We Are

As a veteran-owned and family-run business, we understand the importance of integrity, dedication, and attention to detail. Our team comprises individuals who share these values, ensuring that every project we undertake is completed with the highest level of precision and care.

Bully Coat was born from the shared vision of siblings Jack and Holly Ashby and her boyfriend Chris Conda. Together, they combined their skills, experiences, and values to establish a powder coating company that reflects their commitment to excellence and family values.

Meet Our Team

Our group is made up of a wonderful mix of family, military members, and longtime friends who are all experts in their respective fields. When we come together, we bring a ton of knowledge and skills to every project we tackle.

Jack Ashby
Owner

Jack is the first half of the brother-sister team that is Bully Coat. A native Oregonian who now spends part of his time in Florida, he and Holly both grew up in the city of West Linn. An avid outdoorsman Jack grew up hunting fishing and exploring everything the PNW has to offer. A veteran of the US Marine Corps and the War in Afghanistan, Jack is a proud Veteran and Veteran's advocate being involved in Multiple non-profits including the VFW. Jack is also a proud Freemason and Shriner, dedicating his spare time to helping raise funds benefitting the Shriners Children's hospital.

Holly Ashby
Owner

Holly is the 2nd half of the family team that owns Bully Coat, also a native Oregonian growing up alongside Jack. Holly and Chris run the day-to-day of the shop, and when she is not there, you can usually find her in one of 2 places. Either out and about in her Jeep or on her quad, or at Fear PDX where she works seasonally as the cast manager. She and Chris along with their dog Jango (the namesake of Bully Coat), love taking advantage of what this state has to offer for off-roading, camping, fishing, and whatever else they can discover. It has been Holly and Chris's goal to open a shop for years now, and along with Jack, they are making it a reality.

Christopher Conda
Production/Shop Manager

Originally a Montana native, though he has spent most of his life in Oregon, Chris brings with him the experience and expertise that made Bully Coat possible. Having over 20 years in the Aviation and Automotive industry, Chris's experience varies from Powder Coating to Painting and beyond. Chris's love for the outdoors has fueled his work in these fields and when he is not in the shop or with Holly you can find him on the OHV trails, fishing, or hunting whatever is in season.

Kyle Gregoire
Sales

Kyle is also a native Oregonian, growing up in the city of Lake Oswego. Kyle and Jack have been lifelong friends, attending Marine Corps boot camp together. Kyle is also a Veteran of the War in Afghanistan and a Purple Heart recipient after being wounded in a firefight in the Helmand Province in 2010. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, you will find Kyle on his bike exploring the NW or in his Jeep doing things that people with Jeeps do. Kyle is a proud father as well as a dog dad and is eager to help you get started with whatever powder coating project you have in mind next!

Taelor Cansler
Powder Coater/Cerakoter

Taelor is a highly skilled airbrush artist born and raised in Oregon. She and Holly are long-time friends, meeting when they started in the haunted house industry nearly 10 years ago. She is well known for her creative and precise work mostly in set design and SFX makeup thus far. Taelor's dedication to her craft ensures exceptional quality in every product. She brings with her to the Bully Coat team her artistic and creative eye and is, as well, a Certified Cerakote Applicator, gaining her credentials when the Bully Coat Team went through certification training in White City Or Spring of 2024. Taelor is a mother to her son Aeyr and when not working she enjoys going on adventures with him and rock hounding.
